Ian spent the weekend taking a beating from the boys. I'm guessing it looked about like this years ago with Stacy, Shae and Ian.
Family Crossfit workout to start the day. Stacy is a wonderful instructor.
Shelby wanted soooo badly to beat MaryAnn....Sorry kiddo, give it 10 years and try again.
Okay, this pic of Stacy amazes me. Nothing but lean muscle!
Kids lost interest, so Grandpa is on entertainment duty.
After all that working out, it's time for some grub! Ian is apparently a decent little chef and his creation looked pretty darn good.
Game time.
You'll see a theme, Ian and Hannah were the bit hits with the kids. They must have been exhausted after the reunion, but they hung in there well.
Crazy Cousins!
This was in our backyard! It was gorgeous!!!! Unfortunately, it was also why we couldn't leave the kids unattended. I missed the photo opp when Grandpa Dino had them in swimsuits wading in the freezing cold creek.
This entertainment facility was walkable from the house. Less than a block away, so it's where we spent most of our time, when we weren't on the couch watching the Olympics or doing Crossfit.
Like I said, the most popular 2 people at the event: Hannah and Ian. You two are the best!
Go karts! The race is on!
I love this one.
Ut oh, MAWJ crashed....
High Five, Grandpa Dino!
This moment was so funny, Ms. Bossy was telling the kids some made up story about what they could and could not do since they were little. Shelby was pissed! HAHAHA
So was Lil' Stacy! LOL....
On the little kids' track all 3 got to drive their own car. They didn't go near as fast, but they had fun anyways. And according to the punk little 16 years old kid running it, I should fit the height requirement for the kids track too. Grrrr
These bumper cars were cool!
As soon as the lights went out, Stacy started crying and we had to go in and get him.
So Hannah took his place.
Run, Hannah!
I win!
This was the human maze! I would have freaked out stuck in there going round and round.
Da Boyz
Grandpa got soaked!!!!!
Lil' Stacy hated it....screaming, we had to get him out and let the rest of them finish their war.
Shelby picked a fight with some dude we didn't know. Typical.
The ladies of the weekend! We missed you, Linda.
Way to go, guys!
Brothers chatting in a moment of peace outside....minus my intruding camera.
While Grammy entertained the rugrats.
Uncle Tim in the mix.
And there's GG Daddy!
Family Mug Shot. The kids' faces in these are funny!
Yes, we ended up with bumps and bruises, but had fun!
Shelby sure did love his cousin, Hannah!
And as always, loves a good cuddle momment with GG Daddy!
Hey you monkeys, it's bed time!
Shelby and MaryAnn were in this playhouse pretending to be famous celebrities. They kicked poor Lil Stacy out.
So Aunt T let him have the ipad she told the kids they couldn't play with that day when it was so beautiful outside. He's happy now!
Putt Putt golf! Can you guess who were the most competitive?!?!?!
That's right, Shelby, saw 'em off.
Gosh I love these babies!!!!!!! Can we freeze time?
Panning for jewels. Shelby was in heaven!!!!! This kid is destined to be a geologist. He ADORES rocks! Everywhere we go he comes running with "crystals" for our garden. I have rocks (and some shells) from all over the place...Yosemite, Singapore, Washington DC, Texas, beaches of Cali, you name it! They're all in my garden and when we move, I've asked Stacy to turn them into an outdoor table top. :->
A much needed break.
These were the adults only go karts. They talked me into riding. My hand shook for hours after! And along with the short person theme, I barely made the height requirement to get on them!!!! It was a ridiculous moment. Ian informed me I'm a legal "midgit".
These two were hilarious!!!! Stacy and Dennis squeezed their butts into a kart and going uphill they had to rock their bodies forward, but coming down they gained speed.
They kept saying "we think we can, we think we can" as they rocked uphill. LOL!
We only had one ticket left...so Grammy rode to make it fair, and the kids weren't exactly behaving anyways. Go Grammy!
Grammy and I got the boys these coon skin caps.
