Dennis & Elaine celebrated their 22nd anniversary!!!! For their anniversary this year, they decided to take the kids and grandkids to Disneyland! YEAH FOR US!
Everyone had a great time. Disneyland truly is magical.
Each day we went to the park, came back to rest and let the kids take a nap, then returned to the park in the evening and stayed until closing! Sleep was minimal, but the fun was exponential!
The kids at the hotel before our first adventure.
I can't believe everyone's smiling after the really late night Thursday. The Texas Jones' all had a rough time and a simple flight became an all day ordeal. :-< But we all ended up in the same place eventually and more importantly....safely.
Gee, anyone see similarities in these kids? Can't deny they're cousins.
Crack ups...
Stampy tattoos
Such energy and excitement on the shuttle to the park. Over the course of 3 days, Shelby and MaryAnn wore out all the games: I spy, Quiet game, Rock Paper Scissors
We're here!
I loved my time being Mommy and Aunt T! It was all about the kids for 3 days! (Needless to say, Stacy and I booked a babysitter for this Sat night...hahaha)
Shelby and MaryAnn just loved all the windows at the first store we came to. 3D posters and lots of little figurines depicting disney scenes.
Parade!
Waiting in line for the space ships at Tomorrowland. First ride!
You can tell it's Day 1....hugging instead of fighting...hahaha
Grandpa Dino!
Precious Lil Stacy
YEAH! That was fun!!!
What's next!
Our next stop was Fantasyland and we got soooo lucky! Snow White, The Queen and Cinderella were just walking up for character photos.
My fav! She was hysterical staying in character with cute lil kids all around.
I thought MaryAnn was so excited to see Cinderella...
...but it was Lil Stacy that was smitten!
In love!
He even said, "Where did Cinderella go? I love her."
Handsome Prince
"Give me that."
I just had to. Little did I know my jaw clenches in some weird way that looks like a growth when I try to look tough. Oops.
I was trying to entertain Lil Stacy in line for the Casey Train. I pulled out the camera and this kid did the rest. He wanted to see the screen after every picture, and just kept outdoing himself.
This kid has personality! The kid of many faces. Also, he's a complete flirt! While standing in line, he would hit on cute girls, old and young. One little girl, he kept smiling at. When it was time for us to move in line and they ended up moving too, he said, "Hey, where you going!" LOL....wonder where he gets his lady skills from, Shae Michael. :->
Stacy and I rode in the back in the "blue one, Aunt T!"
Dumbo!
Poor MAWJ, having to hang in there with these crazy boys.
Tea cups! Random tea cup for photos. I definitely did not ride the tea cups....way to easily prone to nausea.
The big kids got in trouble and couldn't ride Dumbo. So, it was all about Grandpa & Lil Stacy.
Pirate ship!!!!!
Yo Ho Ho, it's a pirate's life for me!
This is what Grammy and I did to help two little shaking, petrified boys recover...ice cream. We took them to the Haunted Mansion. Abt 10min in, Shelby and Stacy was crying, panicking messes! MaryAnn loved the whole thing! Elaine and I had to leave with the kids. The problem was, it took us back through the first scary room we entered. By the time we left, Shelby was shaking so hard it broke my heart and then he bit my neck! He was not happy.
Sassy Frassy Girl. :->
Lots more to come!
