So much to blog...so little time

We've had soooo much going on recently!  Sorry for the absence.  I haven't even looked at the pictures yet from the past few weeks.  We went to Texas for the Mohler reunion then left Shelby there with Tehya.  He spent a week with Tehya then a week with Nonna.  They shared pics from their 2 weeks with him, then we went back to pick him up and spend time with my fam.  Lots of pics from all of that. To top it off, Stacy and I enjoyed an amazing weekend in Carmel in between.  Great shots there, too!

Before I can have enough room on my computer to even transfer those pics on, I've got to clear some space.  So, hang in there as I blog some of the "unblogged" from earlier this year!

ABBY

Our precious baby girl....what do I say.  Abigail Anderson Jones isn't doing as well these days.  She's 14 yrs old and suffers from Diabetes and sometimes Arthitic issues.  She's fully blind and deaf.  Right now she's pee'ing all over the house.  We have an appointment on Tuesday so I can see if she needs her insulin regulated, has a urinary infection, or is just incontinent in her old age.  Either way, stepping in puddles of pee each morning has to stop for all of us.  I struggle with when is it "time" to make the right decision to say good-bye.  This appointment with the vet loads me with lots of questions for her.  Overall when we get home, Abby is still thrilled to see us and loves to wag her tail, give kisses, etc.  It's in that moment that saying good-bye seems so inhumane.  UGH!  If the vet indicates she's miserable or suffering...ok.  But the last appointment in March with a full check-up left them telling us she's in great shape with no internal issues beyond the diabetes that was being regulated.  Such conflicting info...

Here's some pics of us with Abs after a groomers appointment in April.

The next morning she had pulled her bows out but still looked so sweet and on those rare moments where she jumps herself up on the couch to be with Shelby and instead of complaining, he loves on her back while watching cartoons, I just melt.

I was doing a photo shoot later that month.  Shelby was with me and seemed to be hurt by me not needing to take pics of him, so he grabbed a random leaf and said, "Mom, take a picture of me with this!"  Sheesh....attention hog.
