This was the yard sign in the garden greeting the guests.
Stacy worked hard to finish off the playground. The recycled rubber mulch was the finishing touch. It was a hit!

I sold my soul to an evil power to ensure the sun came out. It was rain..rain..rain all week and I was freaking out with 59 attendees RSVP'd (21 being kids). 10 min before the party started the sun came out, a rainbow shined in front of the house and the party was on!
The kids were good to go, but all the parents not running around were freezing. Ah, outdoor Feb bday. Nina (previous blog subject) on left, her mom Rebecca, Derek & Landon (2 of my boss' 4 boyz) and Natalie. Stacy's co-worker Jeremy on far left.
Isaiah....you may remember his dad, Jeff, from picks of Stacy at Emerald bowl. He's moved up to Shelby's class now.
Carson also moved up to Shelby's class, and we had to start taking a double take when they're turned around with their blond hair, easy to get them confused. Carson kept telling his parents that was him on the bday invitation.
And you all know Baby Chase from previous blogs. Little man turned 1 yr old! We had his party earlier that day. Natalie and I coordinated for who wanted what time of day. He had the cutest jungle theme! Nat and her sister did a fabulous job! It was crazy with hand crafted sock puppet activities and everything...seriously!
Isn't she precious? Stacy's coworker, Jeremy was able to come by with his 2 precious little girls. This is Avery.
Also frequent to the blog....Chaila & Mia. Cute little ladies Shelby adores!
Tehya's front loader was a hit at the party. Jett was working hard.
We used Karl (friend of Natalie's) again for the cake this year. Remember the barn & animals last year. The cupcakes were basketballs, soccer balls, baseballs....and the football cake! It was sooooooo yummy! He's my hero. I just tell him the theme and let his creativity role!
Shelby had a blast hanging out with all his friends. Landon to the right, Isaiah, and can you see Nina & Nicholas' heads?Thank goodness my boss Brent grabbed my camera to take most of the shots of the crowd after the playground. I was busy. Thanks, BO! On the right, you can see Shelby's girlfriend, Alex, in the pink vest and Juaquin with a cupcake waiting to see if he gets sheet cake too. LOLWhat a fun crowd!!!! And real troopers with the weather colder than we had hoped. Thanks again to Mom and Dad for the outdoor heater we got last year! The party was a ton of fun! The best was watching the look on Shelby's face when everyone sang Happy Birthday! Stacy's trying to figure out how to get it off our video camera onto the blog.
