Happy Autumn

On Saturday, Shelby and I did a photo shoot for "Happy Autumn". (He likes this word and uses it often now from school.) I had bought him a new shirt for the fall and he was stylin! And yes, true to my precious model son, this was his own posing job.

So, we just wanted to say, HAPPY AUTUMN, everyone!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, Everyone!!!!!Shelby has absolutely adored his Viking costume this year.
The costume idea came out of the movie "How to Train a Dragon" that we watched in 3D in the spring when Shae, Harper & MaryAnn visited. When I showed him costume ideas...it was all about the viking like on the movie. So....call to Nonna and....Nonna made it happen!
Huge THANK YOU to Nonna! We love you, Nonna!!!!!!!!!!
From Christina:
Dear Mom,
I never thought I'd be able to repay you for all the love and energy you put into me growing up, but watching the joy on your face when you spend time with my own precious joy of my life, I think...I did it! Shelby is my gift back. When you see him, I see the peace he immediately brings to your face. The love and adoration you have....what power such a little being has to quiet the stresses of the world....and I know I was a part of giving that to you. So, thank you for loving my son, thank you for the love you put into his costumes every year and you're welcome for the joy he brings back to both of us!
Thank you, Dear Shelby, for the joy you bring to both Nonna & Mommy. You're a spectacular little man.

Grammy & Grandpa were here!

Grammy and Grandpa were here to visit last weekend. We had a ton of fun! Shelby had a Trike-A-Thon, a Karate Belt Promotion and on Sunday, he joined them and Daddy for fun at the zoo!
The trike-a-thon was pretty funny, because we realized just how much Shelby had outgrown his bike and helmet. At first he did okay. Then after getting passed up several times, he was riding over with the awful look below on his face. He said, "This bike is too slow! I need a bigger bike!" He ditched his tricycle and went over to borrow one of the school's.Then there was no stopping him.My kid...the class clown.Kyle, Shelby and Giselle were the last 3 riding, while the other kids took a popcorn break. Giselle never let up, but eventually Shelby and Kyle gave in to the smell of popcorn. Kyle was so cute, having borrowed his older sister's helmet.
Shelby's frustration and defeat was too much for Grandpa and Grammy to watch, so as soon as the trike-a-thon was over, the adults headed to Toys R Us and Shelby has a beautiful new bike and helmet hiding in the shed for Christmas. Can we say SPOILED!

Shelby's karate belt promotion!

Shelby and his bud, Nicholas.
This video cracks me up! The jumping jacks are mine and Stacy's favorite. LOL!!!!
THANKS to Grammy & Grandpa for a fun weekend! We miss you guys!!!!!

Star of the Week

Shelby's school has a program called "Star of the Week". Shelby gets to be star of the week this week. Unfortunately, I left the envelope with instructions there, but Grammy remembered some of the stuff Spencer had up on his wall: family, favorite things, etc. I created these yesterday, and hope they're within Ms. Eliana's intent!

Wyoming Harvest Season

There is not much to be said about this hunting season, it went as planned. Mason got his in one shot, there are no funny stories to share. We always have a blast. Thanks to Mason's uncle (JP) and aunt (Missy).

Pumpkin patch and wine bars with Nonna!

Nonna and I got to chaperone the Pumpkin Patch field trip today. It was full of pumpkins, corn and smiles!Shelby was sooo proud of the pumpkin he picked out. He'd pick one, wheel the wagon further, put it back and pick a different one. Finally, he committed.Wow....Shelby is already a bit of the Ladies Man. He's making me nervous. You all know his long time girlfriend, Alex, on the right, but I'd like to also introduce you to Ms. Gianna. Apparently, these 3 are pretty tight.HamSilas and Shelby at the end of the day
These are all our wonderful Mommy friends that got to come on the trip. We had a lot of fun! We're missing some of our fav mom's, but hopefully we'll catch an all encompassing photo on Mommy's Night Out! Yes, some Daddy's were at this trip, but I don't think they were too interested in our photo. hehehe
After we dropped Shelby back off at school, we spent the afternoon with some Mommy/Daughter time! Lunch was amazing at the Oasis in Pleasanton, then we headed to Concannon Winery where there's now the UnderDog Wine Bar. What a relaxing afternoon with my Mom!We weren't doing so hot trying to take a pic with my arm extended with my big ole camera. We kept cracking up.
These pics are all with Mom's camera phone.
More Nonna pics to come, as it's October and you know that means she busted out another PHENOMENAL costume! I can't wait to unveil it to all of you!!!!!!
I love you, Mom, and I'll await our opportunity to spend time together again. Thanks for everything!!!!
